Legal/Speaking Engagement Cancellation Policy

Speaking Engagement Cancellation Policy

Michelle Snow 360 — Effective date: July 2, 2026

This policy applies to all confirmed speaking engagements, workshops, keynotes, and training sessions booked with Michelle Snow 360. A confirmed engagement is one for which a signed agreement and the required deposit have been received. Submission of an inquiry form does not constitute a confirmed engagement.

1. Client-Initiated Cancellations

If the client cancels a confirmed engagement, the following schedule applies:

  • More than 90 days before the event: Deposit is forfeited. No additional fees are owed.
  • 31 to 90 days before the event: 50% of the total contracted fee is due.
  • 30 days or fewer before the event: 100% of the total contracted fee is due.

All cancellation notices must be submitted in writing to Support@MichelleSnow360.com. The cancellation is effective on the date the written notice is received.

2. Client-Initiated Postponements

If the client requests to postpone a confirmed engagement to a future date:

  • The rescheduled date is subject to Michelle Snow's availability and must be mutually agreed upon in writing
  • If the rescheduled date is confirmed within 90 days of the original event date, the deposit will be applied to the new date
  • If no mutually agreeable rescheduled date is confirmed within 12 months of the original event date, the engagement is treated as a cancellation per Section 1
  • One postponement is permitted without additional administrative fees. Subsequent postponements may incur a rescheduling fee as specified in the engagement agreement

3. Michelle Snow 360–Initiated Cancellations

In the unlikely event that Michelle Snow must cancel a confirmed engagement due to illness, family emergency, or circumstances beyond her control (force majeure), we will:

  • Notify the client as soon as practicable
  • Make reasonable efforts to reschedule the engagement at no additional cost to the client
  • If rescheduling is not possible, refund all fees paid, including the deposit, within 14 business days

4. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations under the engagement agreement due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, pandemic or public health orders, transportation shutdowns, venue closures, or other events constituting force majeure.

In a force majeure event, both parties will use good-faith efforts to reschedule the engagement. If rescheduling is not possible, each party is released from the engagement without further financial obligation beyond fees already paid for services already rendered.

5. Travel and Expenses

Non-refundable travel costs (airfare, hotel deposits, ground transportation) incurred by Michelle Snow 360 prior to a client cancellation are billed to the client in addition to any applicable cancellation fee. We will provide documentation of such costs upon request.

To minimize travel cost exposure, clients are encouraged to confirm or cancel engagements as early as possible.

6. Virtual Engagements

Virtual and hybrid engagements are subject to the same cancellation schedule as in-person engagements. Travel and expense provisions (Section 5) do not apply to fully virtual sessions unless travel was pre-approved and booked.
